For a missing, broken or discontinued part, the real need is not ‘an STL’—it is a replacement that fits and performs its job. We search existing resources first, then define an adaptation or recreation route when needed.

  • Manufacturer, product name, model number and any number molded into the part.
  • Photos of the part, the installation location and an undamaged counterpart if one exists.
  • Caliper or ruler measurements of interfaces, holes, thickness and overall envelope.
  • What force, heat, moisture, chemicals, electricity or repeated motion it encounters.

A printed replacement is not appropriate for every load, temperature, electrical, pressure or safety-critical use. We ask how the part functions and may decline, restrict or refer work that needs qualified engineering or certification.

Use the broken part, a mirrored counterpart, mounting interface, photos and measurements to brief a new model.

Arrange the physical replacement

When a model is approved, continue to a production provider without assuming a particular process or material too early.

Before you send

Can you identify a part from a photo?

Sometimes, especially when labels, product context and distinctive geometry are visible. A photo alone rarely proves exact fit, so product numbers and measurements materially improve the search.

What if the original part is broken?

Send all pieces, the installation location and an undamaged mirrored or neighboring part if available. Broken edges can still reveal interfaces and thickness.

Will a 3D printed part be as strong as the original?

Not automatically. Strength depends on geometry, process, material, orientation and service conditions. Safety-critical or highly loaded parts require qualified review and may not be accepted.

Do you only handle plastic parts?

No. The request starts with the required outcome. Plastic additive manufacturing may be suitable, but metal, resin, machining, casting or another route can be considered by the eventual provider.
